In the spirit of Newness, our ‘New Year’ review finds each Planet moving into a New Sign, New Narrative.

A paramount Planetary transfer actually began in 2024, but this year Pluto will solidify and stay in Aquarius for the next 20 years!! Conspiring to confront the trauma of capitalism with headstrong commitment to humanitarian aims (albeit thru potentially non-traditional underground approaches, tre Water-Bearer!), distinct examples of Aqua Pluto are being reported beyond typical Underworld Planet shock-waves. AND as we enter another 4-year-term with the Orange Man as U.S. President AGAIN, the cyber-truck exploding in front of the Las Vegas Trump hotel on NYD started the year out with a surrealistic Aqua-Plutonian bang.

Dominant Outer Earth/Water retires, giving way to a vibrant Air/Fire dynamic in 2025.

Though the North Node is leaving the Ram after a year-and-a-half in the lead, Aries will continue to blaze forth as it joins play-dates in both Saturn and Neptune, contributing distinctly different youthful fire to the 2 very different Planets. GETTING REAL about our moral compass ~and how us dudes shall abide by said standard~ humanity’s need for change stomps LOUDLY in the face of the brooding bratty Axis soon behind us. Considering the cosmos outlook ahead, much of the action happens mid-year.

This Summer Jupiter enters Cancer and Uranus enters Gemini, affecting how humans will innovate around the economy, class war, culture for the next half-decade, but luckily with care and concern (and hopefully not too heavy a hand re: climate crisis). Still, our work is cut-out for us! Dramatic and doom-filled at a glance BUT 2025’s Yearly Astrology WILL induce empathetic empowerment AFTER the growing pains. Quiet fortitude will reward those who maintain their rightful place of help and hope.

Very appropriate as Virgo takes to the South Node soon! 2024 hosted the Strength card and whatever learned resiliency we mustered in the trials-and-tribulations of last year will need be applied within rather than relying on the fickle winds of the outer world (uh hm, Libra South Node). I must admit the Libra South Node saw me personally grapple with attachment theory and gullibility as liar-lovers and frenemies held me by the throat. I battled out a fantastical hope for reconciliations, craving an empathy that never came. Libra’s flight in the South Node DID challenge stale approaches to relationships, inevitably helping me learn to let go (for some, this may’ve been by force or with no other choice). The Aries-Libra Nodal journey tapers off in 2025 and Winter’s slow Astrology influences a further molt. Residual resentments will find themselves able to work with during January/February’s Mars Retrograde in Cancer.

Astro-adorers know the real New Year is the Equinox ala Aries Season.

In Spring, new form awaits, appealing to those who have been burned like moth (Libra South Node) to the flame (Aries North Node). And we STILL may dance to the fire as acts of spontaneity and self-sabotage are available in every Axis. Humans are constantly cementing in judgment then drawn to the unknown, a loop of experience, injury and healing. We’re advised to close the book on the Aries-Libra Shadow Sides sooner rather than later. Everything is going to speed up between March and May 2025 thanks to Retrogrades. Winter urges us to integrate the lessons. To not repeat ourselves. To know the traps and the pedestals that have tricked us. This hibernation can be a salve to our singed wings and 2025’s Eclipses will grant courageous cord-cuttings to leave Aries-Libra behind us for once and for all.

Though there is no true metamorphosis without learning to be vulnerable AND accepting of each other, the true balancing act to contend with re: the Gregorian calendar is the boisterous bravado of Us vs. Them, Me vs. You. Aries-Libra has made us even more quick to cut off whatever doesn’t serve come January. And ~let’s be honest~ the “enemy” CAN BE misinterpreted by egoistic ills if in a fragile social or mental state. Who doesn’t worship us or what doesn’t come easy is not-so-often the REAL problem; the emphasis we place on the way these people/situations make us feel IS. As the Lunar Nodes move into the Zodiac’s Spirituality-Health realm, our POV may saunter up to bigger picture priorities rather than icky interpersonal drama.

Pisces-Virgo will be having none of those wounded animal woes.

2024 may have been the Year of the Brat, but 2025 will be the beginning of the Magick and the Mundane.

The Astro environment truly tracks with the Tarot Card of L’Ermite; we’re seduced to seek composed, cozy quiet in the cold, damp, dark of the Season. As we face difficult decisions, private percolation of obtained data is flavored with delicious introspection. Pisces-Virgo is a philosopher AND a detective! While blind optimism can lead us astray with Pisces in the North Node, the logical demeanor of Virgo makes this Axis very solution-oriented even when facing wildly abstract dilemmas. Virgo can be a demanding, detailed diva but in her reality check vs. Pisces’ plush preferred ideals, the Sister Signs CAN meet in the middle. Even their most terrible tiffs still find their garden taken care of. Their flowers will always lean towards the sun, deeply soaking up the consideration of thought that nourishes the roots in resourceful restores.

However, Virgo’s harsh inner voice and hard-lined habits may need to take a chill pill and Pisces’ whimsy may set us free from the strict schedule we THINK leads to answers but only cages us in. Mars Retrograde in Cancer eases into the Southern Virgo shift if a sustainable action plan WITH FLEXIBILITY is prioritized. As long as we don’t hide too tight in our shell or add too many to-do’s, doing the necessary inner work AND creating support systems will set us up for the next few months. As Spring 2025 hosts Eclipse Season AND Mercury/Venus Retrograde in tandem, January and February are crucial for seed-starting the best intentions in our hearts and minds.

THE PISCES-VIRGO LUNAR NODES

With a slight linger in the previous Aries-Libra Nodes for Spring Eclipse Season, 2025 moving into a NEW Lunar Nodal Cycle altogether will dramatically shape the celestial changes to come.

The Pisces North Node-Virgo South Node begins on January 11, 2025 and will remain until July 26, 2026.

Before Eclipse, Outer Planet and Retrograde specifics, let’s explore how these newly arriving lunar energies will play out, who it will affect the most AND what themes the Pisces North Node and Virgo South Node shall bring to 2025. The Pisces North Node/Virgo South Node is ripe for altering how our values, spirituality and beliefs intersect with our habits, daily life, routines. As Pisces is the last Sign in the Zodiac, the ultimate ascending stage of soul progression, the capacity for spiritual growth will call to us more than any other previous visitation to the North Node.
