Gemini Season gifts the gab on May 20th with Jupiter gliding into Gemini for over a year starting May 25th.

May’s remainder has jovial Jupiterian motifs, though has been growing in goodness since the Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction at the start of Taurus Season on 4/20. Even if this lucky link-up occurred one day only, it’s lasting effects have lingered, igniting new horizons. As the Planet of Expansion, the soon-departing Jupiter in Taurus tilled Earth Bull themes thru our collective sphere, notably affecting resources and resilience. Inflation of food prices and finding our stance in our values, specifically related to Palestine, are clear results of the year-long Jupiter cycle in Taurus.

Now that Jupiter will move into Gemini, subjects like communication and experimentation will come up for air…. Mutable Air specifically! It could be a complicated run as Gemini is in its “fall” while positioned in the King Planet’s Court. Since Gemini is ruled by the smallest planet, Mercury, and Jupiter is the largest in our Solar System, this pairing is likely to create some friction… but not in the worst of ways. Impacting critical strategy in a politically disruptive fashion could be up ahead. In the personal, perhaps through a welcomed psychedelic philosophical kaleidoscope, Jupiter in Gemini can broaden our interpersonal and macro-cosmic connectivity.

Gemini’s specialty as informational innovator will float along long after its Sun Season as the Twins continue flight in expansive Jupiter until June of 2025.

Gemini-Sagittarius is a thrilling and harmonious duality compared to many Sister Signs. Their Axis is exceptionally abuzz as both Signs are very busy bee’d and expect Gemini Season to be go, go, go compared to the slow and steady of Taurus… The quickening is clear in just the first week of the Season, aglow with Astro-activity. Entertained by zesty details and curious concepts, Gemini-Sagittarius ping-pongs philosophy and poetry with analysis and objectivity, yet makes it so fun. In their love for learning, especially from and with others, Gemini is a Social Butterfly attracted to the nectar of knowledge and Sagittarius is an Adventurer in seek of broader wisdom.

However, all this thought-centric preoccupation has a downside! This Astro Duality easily suffers from self-imposed mental overload, thus in need of recharging batteries when brainiac gymnastics start to stack against them. Both Signs want to do IT ALL, often struggling with respecting their limitations until they run out of energy altogether. After all, it is exhausting being brilliant and magnetic and exploring angles to wits’ end while making time for projects and friends. The work-life balance is anything but!

Within short days of Gemini Season’s start, the Sagittarius Full Moon will up the ante on our aspirations AND shine a light on what stands in the way of our dreams. Now that Mercury Retrograde and Eclipse Season are put to rest, the scrying Scorpio Full revelations digested and we’re applying the tools of the Taurus New Moon, the Sag Full Moon stands on the peak, overlooking the bigger picture, what’s behind and what’s ahead. Sorting thru options before trotting down the path ahead may jump-kick some serious indecision fatigue. Best to give ourselves ample space while looking at the hard truth of what works and what doesn’t as we map our next moves for maximum joy.

Sagittarius’ lust for honesty is strong, but its determination is even stronger. While Fire Moons are potential hotbeds for outbursts, this May Flower Moon is less bombastic as we relish in the full abundance of Spring… BUT Full Moons do tend to magnify emotional turmoil. Overzealous hubris or over-scheduling will lead to short-circuiting opportunities, our minds becoming our greatest opponent. Balancing health and stealth demands pacing, making any reactivity based off fear a roadblock. Luckily, this Sag Moon is lightened by a sparkly tone of positivity and productivity, once we decide what old habits to let go and which direction we need to go forth in order to grow.

First and foremost, the Sagittarius Full Moon whets our adventurous appetite for Summer and is GREAT for devouring self-doubt and stagnation. There is no better time to claim your right to your truth and who we are at core and in what ways we have the right to grow, tapping into our most fruitful future selves onward. Sagittarius is unapologetic and allows space for many things to exist at once. Opposite Gemini, who is said at times to be “two-faced”, an overall scope of existence means we can be adaptable as both these Mutable Signs are.
Fire Moons are always hotbeds of reactions instead of responses, but sometimes we have to be certain on what we really need to “let go” of to truly honors our growth. Resentments that hold us back or situations that we can choose to put behind us will aid in our Future selves that deserve to be free of icky energetics that do not serve us.
Finding a midway between the stop and go, but moreso an EXPLORE helps us get to the heart of the matter. Honesty, in earnest, is the Gemini-Sagittarius strong suit, but there is also a bravado and ego that enters the picture that can continue to hold us back. Isn’t it funny how difficult it can be to have the bravery to admit very obvious things… the things that pain us in our moments of truth, knowing what we do not need, what we can not carry with us and also conversely, what an abundance of blessings we have? The complication of self-awareness, matched with quiet understanding instead of haste, can be bittersweet, but it’s one that will set us free this Sagittarius Full Moon, if we feel ready to allow it.
Furthermore, this is a great Full Moon for physical release, however that looks for you. Any LIGHT action that does not over-exert can be very relieving to embrace the inspiration of the Flower Moon. Symbolic activities that clean the slate are great for this cosmic moment. Hands-on activity in itself can be a ripe ritual, but reminder to be gentle!
