6/1 Jupiter in Taurus Conjuncts North Node in Taurus
Pride Month starts strong with a once-in-a-lifetime conjunction between Jupiter and the North Node, both in Taurus at this time.
This rare conjunction can strengthen our beliefs and values, how we’d like to move forward and with who. Call to connections and community will be a mammoth theme for June. Jupiter’s powers of expansion recently moved into the Earth (and Material World loving) Sign of Taurus, a cozy position that in itself produces growth (if not excess). Depending on our willingness to marinate on what is available to us and how we can build something out of nothing, using creative combinations can result in possibilities beyond our wildest imagination.
For mindful abundance, in surpluses that can be shared, we just have to begin. Planting the seed is the start.
As the Moon’s Taurus-Scorpio Nodes soon close shop in mid-July, this particular meet between Jupiter and the North Node allows us to consider how we will apply inspiration and/or lessons. Lunar nodes emphasize our purpose and urge us collectively and individually to reflect upon the nodal themes for the year and a half(-ish) they are present. Extremely strong during Eclipse Season, the North Node in Taurus highlights our attachments and habits. Where we have been clinging stubbornly, afraid or unwilling to change, comes to the forefront again, gently.
Jupiter’s merry-meet with the North Node is a reminder of gratitude AND real world responsibility as we move into Summer and soon shift Nodes. Though positive in nature, the June 1st Conjunction is not merely fluff, but rather a strong signal to the sense open avenues ahead and take care in our steps as there are always consequences for our choices.
6/3-4 Full Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius
The Full Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius arrives late Saturday June 3rd into Sunday the 4th, quite sparkly and sweet in its savors of freedom and adventure. 2022’s Strawberry Supermoon was a bit different in flavor, more pressure-boiling (last year’s recap was also our very first post - Happy Birthday to our Substack!). Luckily, this upcoming weekend, we are presented with a more light-hearted exchange of helpful downloads.
It’s not to say that our problems will dissipate into thin air. On the contrary, delusion and apathy will be furthest from the makeup of this year’s Strawberry Moon. A refreshing tune-up to a dead-end perspective is more likely at play. What has felt burdensome and too much to bear could possibly be seen from a different angle altogether, as solutions and strategy are truly the Sagittarius way. Sag pulls from the Gemini SZN urge to get bogged in the details, but both signs have somehow have ?!?!fun?!?!? problem-solving… especially in the company of friends!
Social Butterfly Gemini loves to talk shop and share information and it’s easy to consider Cosmic Centaur Sagittarius the most chatty yet curious of Fire Signs. Gemini-Sagittarius polarity marks a deep desire for knowledge and learning after all; they are both highly conversational with a side of party animal when the mood strikes. Despite the duality’s ability to show up to everything that piques their interests, both Signs also tend to “overdo”. Balance between social life and private life may be in question as we approach Summer’s officially start.
The Strawberry Full Moon reminds us that we are not always alone. Our grief, fear, sorrow may be individual, but universal compassion and empathy exists.
Like all Full Moons, we may be overflowing with tension, to-do’s and other non-stop needs pressing down on us to what seems like no end. The Sagittarius Full Moon has this same capacity as any other: to build up, find release, or sometimes be forced to take action. However, it seems this Sag Moon will not be so typical, tempered instead with camaraderie. Gemini’s creative challenges in light of the Sag Full Moon may produce a mighty review of our outdated perspectives, plans and the people… with changes in tow for the better. With Saturn in Pisces and Pluto in Aquarius present, the Strawberry Moon is supported by sips of innovation, allowing us to look around and take a step back to see a bigger picture.
