How would you approach the possibility of change if it was just around the corner? Would you lean on safeguards of yore or open yourself to new lore?

June savors some of the MOST DELICIOUS astro-treats of the entire year, marking major modifications for the latter half of 2025. I for sure CRAVE some cosmic fairy dust to be sprinkled a-top my humid head of frizzle hair, but then again I must admit I worry about the attention it would attract! That blessings would require more maintenance in addition to what is already on my plate... We don’t discuss what it is to be so cautious we are closed off enough but hyper-vigilant “safety” can personally hold me back in the worst ways. The weekend’s Mercury Cazimi offered insight into what we want AND need (with the discrepancies in between), how to communicate it and hone in on our willingness to be available to MORE. The last half of the Twins’ Season is not only social and sparkly but all of June is abundant with astrological goodness for fucking once! YEEHAW! With planetary placements anew, all monumental moves will secure a Summer (or Winter if in the Southern Hemisphere) of sensational shifts - though they may shock at first!

All changes, even “good” in nature, need adjusting to… for some more than others.

As if we haven’t had enough of Spring’s setbacks, there HAS been some due gratitude for Taurus Season’s grounding. We’ve had moments of re-rooting, growing into our purpose, thinking and being with our values. Gemini’s New Super Moon turned us towards a horizon of possibilities, dreamscapes of infinite ideas, maybe overwhelming for those with spicy indecision. That’s me personally griping, AuDHD at the helm; I’ve colossal determinations to land on that will impact me financially for the rest of my life heavily sitting in my lap this June. Even more reason to be welcoming towards the astrology and aspects that sit before me! Still, as a stickler for safety and structure (Virgo Moon problems? lol), I do not deal with even the slightest deviations to my surroundings or the schedules well. I’ve built my life around a highly curated and predictable ecosystem of my wired mind and anxious disposition.

Yes, minds are like parachutes; they only function when they open…

Yet some of us are REALLY particular about not wanting to splat into a pig sty or get trapped in a tree or stranded in the middle of a lake! While planetary pace has been building in beatific blossoming for lush landscapes, it’s true these landings will be less cushioned if we’re afraid of the fall in the first place. If the inner work that sat staring intently at us during Mars Rx in Leo, Mars Rx in Cancer, Spring’s Venus Retrograde AND Mercury Retrograde ~both switching between fiery Aries and watery Pisces~ was avoided, this Summer may push us out of our comfort zones more than we’d like. However, the push will be PLAYFUL! We might be shy at start, but the energy is more kiddie art camp, a whimsical adventure where we’ll make new friends and find new avenues to express ourselves! Mostly in part to Aries who will still be hanging around in both Saturn and Neptune + causing lots of chaos :)

All the outer planets change signs in 2025.

June is Pride Month, tho if you’re queer every month is Pride Month!

And if you’re not, you would be wise to show up for your queer friends and fam that are struggling through the massive roll-back of rights by Trump (my least favorite Gemini). Queer Pride is very relevant to the astrological jolt many of us are in need of not just to shake off the chaos of Spring Retrograde that seems to be very sticky like honey and still attracting some flies but to really move forth with clear conscious in the face of literal fascism happening before our eyes. We’re a month into Pluto’s Retrograde in Aquarius which hones in on our personal power struggles with, well, POWER, and I’ve much to say later on in this post about the ways in which Saturn-Neptune in Aries can show up for a very divided hierarchical “queer community” that needs to be entirely noted re: privilege, gaslighting and bypassing accountability.

Fellow Air Sign Super Moon in Gemini emphasized the subject of reclamation within systems of dystopia while Pluto Aquarius will continue a longer span challenge of individualist efforts to show up and humble itself for the collective struggle. Even if identity degradation does not feel relevant to you, freedom is ALL CONNECTED under a Christo-fascist surveillance state (FREE PALESTINE FOREVER AND ALWAYS). For Part I of the Summer Guide, I’ll be focusing on Pluto Rx in Aquarius and Saturn-Neptune in Aries and Jupiter in Cancer and Uranus in Gemini in Part II. Onto the details of Gemini’s June astrology, but first! A couple of difficult days but a great start to a sweet Summer time with less sadness and more bad-assery in tow.

Outer Planet Dates:

  • 3/30/24 - 3/39 Neptune* in Aries;

  • 5/4/25 - 10/14/25 Pluto Rx in Aqua;

  • 5/25/25 - 4/12/28 Saturn* in Aries;

  • 6/9/25 - 6/30/26 Jupiter* in Cancer;

  • 7/7/25 - 5/22/33 Uranus* in Gemini

    * will have Rx back-spinning in Signs for some of 2025

Gemini June Astrology:

  • 6/1 Venus-Chiron Conjunction in Aries is a last hurrah for what was honestly TOO LENGTHY a span of the Ram in the Love Planet (including that Aries-Pisces Venus Rx mess). This spazzy jazzy match is blessed by a beautiful boost from wounded healer Chiron, encouraging recovery re: identity-related sore spots and long-standing damage re: low self-worth in relationships and money. We’re not here to shrink ourselves this Pride Month thanks to this fiery alliance. Creative self-expression can be one way to reclaim! Art is ALWAYS a form of therapy in this house and release + playtime = cosmic *chef’s kiss* on this grand Sunday start of a month.

  • 6/5 Venus enters Taurus, a match made in heaven! All the sensual pleasures of the Earth become more alive and available to us in the late Spring… even the small things we failed to notice in previous spirals! One caveat: overspending will be far too easy with this pair. Be discerning about living beyond your means in the current inflation infiltration. Using June to innovate towards “the best things in life are free” or at least attempting finding cheaper hang-outs will be more rewarding in the long run. Slowburn Summer romances may also be on the menu!

  • 6/8 Mercury enters Cancer and though Gemini in Mercury was a perfect pair, we could all use Crab’s considerate approach to communication as we flow with the planetary changes. Softer edges means softer landings and with Pluto’s backspin and the Aries “opposites attract” of Neptune and Saturn, sweetness and soothing in our words buffers bad reactions and other relational barriers. Right before Mercury enters Cancer, a Mercury-Jupiter Conjunction in Gemini drops divine downloads in our lap to do what we will. This is a huge mercurial day of reflection that serves as a bittersweet Gemini goodbye to both planetary placements.

  • 6/9 Jupiter enters Cancer! Very dependably, Jupiter stays in a sign for almost a full year and Cancer taking over the Kingdom of Expansion will be one of the most beneficial planetary shifts of all 2025. I personally am seeing this as a significant new cycle! If you want to have another shot at a “new year”, this is it! Femme-tastic in flavor, communal and gentle, I’ll expand on this change in the upcoming June Cancer Season post.
